Kevin joined the Purple Silk Music Education Foundation Board to support its mission of enriching young lives through music education.

As an anesthesiologist based in Northern California, Kevin brings a unique perspective to the board, blending his leadership experience with a deep appreciation for cultural arts.

His connection to the foundation is deeply personal—his younger son plays the flute and hulusi in the Great Wall Youth Orchestra and performed during the group’s tour in China.

Kevin’s older son, an alumnus of the orchestra, plays the guzheng and violin; his experience with Purple Silk profoundly broadened and deepened his appreciation for music.

Kevin is committed to expanding PSMEF’s reach, fostering cultural appreciation, and ensuring music education is accessible to all.
